A new office co-working concept geared toward students and young professionals is now open at the Hub at Columbia.
Collective & Co. debuted The Space at 1426 Main St. in downtown Columbia on Monday. The Space will offer workshops, networking opportunities and mentorships designed to provide professional and personal growth to help members stand out in a competitive job landscape.
The Hub at Columbia is part of Hub on Campus, the flagship brand of student housing developer Core Spaces.
“As Core becomes increasingly hyper-focused on the needs of our residents, we see their passion to explore,” Marc Lifshin, founder and CEO of Core Spaces, said in a news release. “We’re making college better than the real world by bringing the opportunities they’re searching for right to their front door.”
In addition to problem-solving workshops, leadership seminars and an in-house marketing agency, The Space will also provide yoga, meditation workshops and mental health awareness events.
“Now, more than ever, it’s imperative that the college experience be a time that students build and grow their future,” Aaron Dixon, CEO and founding partner of Collective & Co., said. “That’s why we’ve partnered with Core Spaces to meet students where they are.”
