A new Farm Bureau Insurance claims service center will open later this year at 3315 Sunset Blvd., bringing the West Columbia office building to full occupancy.

NAI Columbia’s John Gregory and Will DuPree represented the building owner in the lease of the 2.726-square-foot space. The claims center will serve Lexington County and the Midlands, with on-site professionals available to quickly assist Farm Bureau policyholders and third-party claimants in assessing damage, providing estimates and settling claims.

The building also houses Palmetto ENT & Allergy.

Collins & Lacy renews downtown lease

Law firm Collins & Lacy, P.C., has renewed its lease at the six-story Capital Station building at 1331 Lady St.

The firm has been housed in the top floor of the downtown Columbia building since 1987.

“Collins & Lacy is growing and hiring top legal talent to best serve our client needs,” Christian Stegmaier, firm president, said in a news release. “This has been and will continue to be our headquarters for operations across the state, with room for expansion as we continue our growth. We are pleased to renew our commitment to a vibrant downtown Columbia.”

Colliers South Carolina negotiated the renewal.

“The firm’s name and logo are on the building for a reason,” Colliers’ Tommy Johnson said. “Collins & Lacy is the anchor tenant with almost 35 years of investment in downtown Columbia here at the Capitol Station building.”
