Prime Forest Acres site sells for $1.9M

Land at the corner of Forest Drive and Beltline Boulevard in Forest Acres has been sold and eventually will become home to a drive-thru coffee shop and a medical office.

Commercial real estate firm Trinity Partners represented the seller, Old Percy Mortgage Company LLC, according to a news release from Trinity.  Macon Lovelace facilitated the transaction.

3J7B Real Estate LLC of Columbia purchased the one-acre property for $1,925,000 with plans to develop it for two new concepts coming to the Forest Acres market, according to the release.

The lead tenant will be a national coffee brand, 7Brew, which is opening multiple locations around the Midlands and South Carolina market. Founded in 2017, 7Brew is based in Fayetteville, Ark., and focuses on selling its flavored gourmet coffees in a drive-thru setting.

A 4,500-square-foot medical office also will be built on the site.

Construction is expected to begin in December with estimated completion in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Forest Acres officials have not yet received any requests for construction permits on the site, according to Lynnsey Baker, public information officer for the city of Forest Acres.
