Indah Coffee named best in state by Food & Wine readers

Food & Wine magazine has named Cottontown’s Indah Coffee the best coffee in South Carolina.

Indah Coffee, which opened its first retail location a year ago, beat out shops in Greenville and Charleston. The shop “is doing great work for the local coffee cred,” the magazine said.

Selection criteria included a top roaster, community engagement, innovation and customer experience.

“We are honored to be chosen for this and humbled to be named with the other coffee talent our state has to offer,” co-founder Stefanie Hauser said in a news release.

Hauser's husband and co-founder Nick Hauser is Indah Coffee’s lead roaster and has been roasting for close to eight years. Nick Hauser is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America.
