Ross Dress for Less opening Sumter store

The 22,000-square-foot-store, located in Gateway Plaza at the corner of Broad Street and Alice Drive, will bring the total of Ross stores to 26 in South Carolina and 1,580 nationwide. It is slated to open Oct. 24, according to a news release.
California-headquartered Ross Stores Inc. recorded fiscal 2019 revenues of $16 billion, according to the release. The company operates more than 1,800 locations of Ross Dress for Less and dd’s Discounts in 39 states, Washington, D.C., and Guam.
Ross Dress for Less offers apparel, accessories, footwear and home fashions at savings of up to 60% off department store prices.
