A Lego model of Williams-Brice Stadium will be displayed at the BrickUniverse Lego Convention at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in August.

University of South Carolina alum David Robinson, along with his son, David Jr., used more than 5,000 Lego pieces to construct the Gamecocks’ home field. The project took three months to complete and features a logo at midfield, green turf and the videoboard in the west end zone.

This will be the first time Robinson’s project will be displayed for audiences.

BrickUniverse Lego Convention will take place Aug. 11 and 12. The convention will feature professional Lego artists, building zones and Lego displays.  Tickets are available online for $15.
