The Richland Library Farmers Market will celebrate its first anniversary on Wednesday at the main library branch at 1431 Assembly St. from 10 a.m. to noon.
The free event will mark the anniversary of the market, which launched in November 2017 and allows library visitors to browse for fresh produce, preserves, honey and baked goods in addition to books. The market averages more than 100 sales a week, according to a news release.
The anniversary celebration will feature live music from bluegrass band the Stringbenders, an author meet-and-greet with Aida Rogers and a story time focused on gardening. Free seedlings kits will be available, and a gift basket will be raffled.
