The 53rd annual Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show will be held March 8-10 at the S.C. State Fairgrounds. More than 200 construction, home improvement and outdoor products exhibits will fill the Cantey, Goodman and Ellison buildings during the show, sponsored by The Building Center, Eastwood Homes and Dominion Energy.

Construction vehicles from C.R. Jackson will also be on display, as will the Tiny Home Village, featuring work from 84 Lumber and Stone Canyon Cabins of Columbia.

The opening Friday of the show is free for attendees age 55 and older from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. That day will also include the 55+ Friday Expo, with one-day only exhibits in the Great Southern Homes special events area from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Military members with ID get $2 off admission at the gate. On Sunday, two people can enter for the price of one, and kids under age 14 receive free admission every day.

Saturday will feature the Richland County deputies on the TV show Live PD, along with Columbia firetrucks and firefighters.

Exhibitors will be giving away more than $10,000 in prizes and offers during the show, which will also offer daily seminars on topics such as buying, selling and building a home, gardening, and remodeling.
