SC Association of Health Underwriters Announces 2023-2024 New Board Members

Columbia, S.C. – The South Carolina Association of Health Underwriters (SCAHU) proudly announces its new officers and board of directors for the 2023-2024 year.

The 2023-2024 SCAHU Officers include President Bradley George, Principal with The George Agency; President Elect Melanie Ensminger, President of the David M. Gilston Insurance Agency; Treasurer Craig Caldwell, Account Manager at Colonial Life Insurance; and Past-President Jennifer Lowery, Consultant with the Lowery Consulting Agency.

The Board of Directors include Graem Clark, District Sales Manager with Colonial Life; Jeff Howle, Health Markets Insurance Agent; Matt Nichols, Individual/Medicare Representative with Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina; Christopher Potts, Principal of the Trusted Financial Group; Mark Riley, Owner of American Benefit Services; and Meredith Walker, Group Sales Representative with the Cason Group, Inc.

“The new officers and board members will work together to accomplish the associations’ mission to improve the health care and health care coverage industry for consumers,” stated Bradley George, SCAHU’s President.

The South Association of Health Underwriters (SCAHU) is the professional association for more than 300 individuals in the health insurance industry in South Carolina who market and service health insurance and related products, including group health insurance, dental insurance, self- funded benefit plans, utilization review programs, preferred provider organizations, short-and long-term disability plans, long term care plans and more.
