A Columbia technology company that aggregates and publishes information on public, government meetings is partnering with nonprofit politics and elections clearinghouse Ballotpedia.

Voterheads.com is launching a local government monitoring project to allow visitors to Ballotpedia’s city and county web pages to see details about public meetings in their area, including agendas.

Voterheads.com CEO Mike Switzer said the collaboration has launched for Ballotpedia’s Top 100 cities pages in the US. He said the company expects to have the technology put in place for the rest of Ballotpedia’s local governments by the end of the year.

“Ballotpedia.org is a wonderful resource for our citizens, Switzer said in a statement, “and we are proud to be able to add to the useful civic information Ballotpedia.org is providing.

Voterheads.com, which is nonpartisan, offers local government monitoring services for all 50 states and Washington, D.C., the company said.

Daniel Anderson, a managing editor with Ballotpedia.org, said Voterhead’s public meetings tracking technology is a rich addition to Ballotpedia’s encyclopedia of information about government and politics, including places like Sacramento, Calif.

“Voterheads.com’s local public meetings widget is a terrific addition to our website, allowing our users to see information and agendas for both upcoming and recent city and county public meetings,” Anderson said in a statement.
