SCETV in search of Women of Vision

Listen to this articleSCETV has extended the nomination period for its Women Vision SC project through Tuesday.
The statewide initiative will recognize eight outstanding Women of Vision in conjunction with Women’s History Month in March 2019. Finalists will be determined by a panel of community leaders from around South Carolina.
Nominations can be made at https://www.scetv.org.
The finalists will be interviewed and have their stories shared on TV, radio and online next spring.
“SCETV is inviting citizens to get involved through nominating women who have made significant contributions to South Carolina or their local communities,” Anthony Padgett, president and CEO of SCETV, said in a news release. “We are excited about recognizing women through storytelling and then retaining those stories for our education portals that reach students across the state.”
