TEDxUofSC tickets go on sale today

Listen to this articleTickets for the inaugural TEDxUofSC event go on sale today at noon. Tickets are first-come, first-served and available at sc.edu/tedxuofsc.
TEDx events feature short talks on innovate ideas. Twelve speakers will participate in the Oct. 9 event at the USC Alumni Center, sharing ideas centered around a theme of change and covering topics from reclaiming traditional Southern cuisine to the challenges of reacclimating to a community after prison.
Tickets are $25, with a limit of two per person.
The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the alumni center at 900 Senate St. Doors open at noon, with two talk sessions broken up by a coffee break.
