Unemployment edges up to 4.6% in December 2020
Unemployment rose in every S.C county as the number of people working in the state dropped by more than 3,600 from November. From December 2019 to December 2020, South Carolina's economy lost 53,200 seasonally adjusted nonfarm jobs.

South Carolina maintains high bond ratings with 3 major agencies
