The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL®) presents its 2022 Symphony Tour of Homes – Historic Charleston on Saturday and Sunday, May 21 & 22.
The CSOL is known for its distinctive home tours featuring interior design, architecture and Lowcountry lifestyles, both on Kiawah Island and in downtown Charleston. A variety of exquisite homes and gardens will showcase downtown Charlestons charming neighborhoods, historical and architectural details, interior design, as well as quintessential gardens. A special feature of this years home tour will be a 1740s home on Rainbow Row along with some of the Peninsulas most spectacular gardens.
The tour is self-guided with docents available at the homes and gardens to guide visitors. The homes and gardens will be open both days, rain or shine, from 10:00 to 4:00 PM. Tour ticket prices are $65 advance and $70 day of the tour. $150 Friends tickets are also available.
To kick off the weekend, a Southern Fête will be held Friday evening, May 20 at the historic Charleston Library Society. This festive evening includes a southern supper with wine pairing, tour and garden highlights by interior designer Michael Mitchell, of Mitchell Hill, an intimate musical program by pianist Jessica Minahan White and CSOL scholarship recipients, and a live auction. Tickets for the Southern Fete are $175, $250, and $500. Table sponsorships are available.
Both the home tour and the Southern Fête will feature Charleston Symphony musicians and student musicians, many of whom are previous CSOL scholarship winners.
