Fair joins Morton & Gettys as an associate

ROCK HILL, SC – Attorney Henry Fair has joined Morton & Gettys as an associate.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Fair’s practice will include commercial real estate and business and corporate law.

Fair is a familiar face to many Morton & Gettys clients. He served as a summer associate at the firm in 2022, assisting attorneys with commercial real estate transactions. He also conducted legal research and analyzed case law while also preparing motions, memoranda, and orders for the firm’s litigators.

During law school, he served as a law clerk for the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee, performing legislative research and assisting with the screening of incoming judges. Additionally, he worked as a law clerk for the Fifth Circuit Solicitors Office. His work there included drafting memoranda, preparing indictments for grand juries, and assisting prosecutors with trial preparation.

Fair earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and African American studies from the University of Florida. He was a cum laude graduate.
