Columbia, SC – Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the hire of Mr. Walker Johnson as a Civil Design Engineer for the firm’s Columbia office. Walker joins Hussey Gay Bell with a range of site/civil engineering experience including utility design, stormwater design, calculations, modeling/report development, preparation of construction documents and agency permitting. Under the direction of the Columbia Office Managing Director, he assists with services related to site development for commercial, residential and industrial projects. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Georgia Southern University and is proficient in 3D modeling and measurement software including Revit, Solidworks Modeling, Civil 3D and Terrestrial Lidar. Walker is skilled in MIG welding and infrared thermography and is also scuba certified.
