Public hearing to discuss proposed rezonings

Listen to this articleAn online public hearing regarding the proposed rezoning of 11 parcels of land in Richland County will be held on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.
The proposed map amendments were reviewed by the Richland County Planning Commission in November, with eight recommended for approval and three for disapproval. The full agenda of requests can be viewed online at richlandcountysc.gov under the county council tab/agendas menu.
Residents can comment on agenda items via email at planningcommission@richlandcountysc.gov or by mail to Richland County Community Planning and Development, Planning & Development Services, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia, S.C., 29204. Comments must be received by noon on Feb. 22 and will be read during the meeting with their corresponding agenda item.
