The first of three pop-up art shows at Richland Library branches will be held on April 16.

The Sandhills branch, located at 763 Fashion Drive, will play host to the show from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Local artists Bradley Williams and Ashlan Bishop will be on hand as their works are exhibited.

Williams, who resides in Camden, is a painter and drawer who is currently working on a series of paintings inspired by his time living and working in Yellowstone National Park. Bishop, an S.C. native, focuses on needle-felted wool art pieces and is known as “the ghost lady,” as her work helps keep the spirit of Halloween alive year-round.

Other pop-up shows will be held May 5 during First Thursday festivities at Boyd Plaza in downtown Columbia and on June 18 at the library main branch at 1431 Assembly St.
