Taste of Lake Murray to raise fireworks funds

Listen to this articleLive music and food from 15 area restaurants will be featured at the 2020 Taste of Lake Murray on March 5.
The event, to be held at the Doubletree by Hilton on Bush River Road at 6:30 p.m., is a fundraiser for the July 4 fireworks celebration on Lake Murray.
Tickets are $75 per person and available by calling 803-781-5940 or online at tasteoflakemurray.com.
Rising country music star Cody Webb will be among the musical performers. Participating food and beverage vendors include Alodia’s Cucina Italiana, Blue Marlin, Halls Chophouse, Hollow Creek Distillery and Pawleys Front Porch.
Event sponsors include Lexington Medical Center, Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corp. and new Lake Murray residential development Palmetto Pointe.
The Lake Murray fireworks show on Saturday, July 4, will feature pyrotechnics launched from Dreher Island and Spence Island.
