The Gallery Salon Expanding to Open Largest Hair Salon in Charleston

The Gallery Salon, a full-service beauty studio in the heart of Mount Pleasant, SC, is officially relocating to open the largest hair salon in the Charleston area on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The elevated sixteen-chair salon will be located in the newly-built Bowman Place buildings at 1374 Old Georgetown Road, Suite 101 in Mount Pleasant. Taking place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 5 – 8 p.m., the Grand Opening Party will feature live music, complimentary drinks, snacks, and giveaways.

“Expanding our boutique salon has been a dream of mine. Myself and all of the artists at The Gallery are excited to deliver our elevated salon experience to more clients in the Charleston community,” says Gianna Lundgren, owner and master stylist at The Gallery Salon. “The goal was to create a luxurious space that is welcoming for our amazing Artists and clients.”

The original boutique salon, located in Shelmore Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, was founded in 2020 on the principle that both artists and clients deserve an elevated salon experience. This shared goal, driven by passionate owner Gianna Lundgren, contributes to the excellence and talent of the stylists behind the chair. Aptly named, the “Artists” at The Gallery are a team of experienced stylists who prioritize education, collaboration, and excellence from start to finish.

Featuring music from DJ Sista Mistas, delectable charcuterie boards from On The Board, complimentary cocktails from Chug-A-Lug Wagon, and giveaways from many local businesses, the Grand Opening Party will introduce the new location to the broad community. For those looking to call The Gallery their new salon, all are welcome to join the party and dress in The Gallery brand colors – white, gold, blush pink, and warm neutrals.

Tripling in size, no detail was spared in the creation of the new, large-scale salon. From floor vacuums, to a curated wine tap, working stations and lounge area for clients, even down to the salon-quality air purifiers, The Gallery aims to provide a luxurious, high-end experience. Beyond a standard haircut and color, the full-service salon is continually creating new services to best suit its clients, including extension installation, smoothing services, facial waxing, blowout and makeup packages, and more.
