Transportation company opens expanded offices in Columbia

 RXO, a leading provider of asset-light transportation solutions, recently celebrated the opening of expanded offices in Columbia’s Vista district.

“It’s exciting to expand our brokerage footprint in Columbia,” Lou Amo, president of truck brokerage for RXO, said in a news release. “South Carolina is an important gateway for freight on the East Coast, and our employees there work hard to connect our vast network of carriers with blue-chip customers to keep supply chains running efficiently. The new Columbia office will play a key role in our growth plans.”

RXO invested $1.3. million in the 10,000-square-foot brokerage office at 700 Gervais St. The space can support more than 70 employees. The new office features standing workstations, multiple conference rooms, a large employee break area with a shuffleboard table, a gaming area and space for collaboration
