Allen Klump Joins SCMA As VP of Government Relations

Today, the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance (SCMA) announced that Allen Klump has joined the organization as its Vice President of Government Relations.

“We are excited to welcome Allen to the SCMA team,” said Sara Hazzard, President and CEO of the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance. “His extensive knowledge of government and public relations will be a great asset in advocating for policies that advance economic opportunity and prosperity throughout South Carolina’s manufacturing sector.”

Before joining SCMA, Klump worked for the United States House of Representatives where he served as Chief of Staff in the Office of Congressman Jeff Duncan (SC-3), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Energy, Climate, and Grid Security. In this role, he managed the Congressman’s personal office and served as shared committee staff with the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Klump held several other roles for Congressman Duncan including Deputy Chief of Staff, Communications Director, and Campaign Manager.

Klump holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the United States Naval War College.
