Central Welcomes New Senior Vice President

Columbia, S.C. — Central Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. is excited to announce the hiring of Marcus Harris, P.E., as our new Senior Vice President of Planning and Power Supply. With an extensive background in the electric power industry, Harris is well-positioned to enhance the ongoing growth and success of Central. Central’s member-cooperatives serve more than 940,000 electric meters across 79,000 miles of power lines covering 70% of the state’s landmass.

Bringing a distinguished career in the electric utility sector, Harris has previously served as the CEO of Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) and Kansas Electric Power Cooperative (KEPCO). His proven track record in executive leadership and management reflects his unwavering commitment to advancing the energy industry.

Harris currently resides in Lexington, South Carolina, with his wife, Allison.
