he Alzheimers Foundation of America (AFA)s national Educating America National Tour, featuring AFAs free Concepts in Care educational conference, free memory screenings, and much more, comes to Charleston on Monday, April 23rd. The free program is open to families affected by Alzheimers disease, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning more about Alzheimers disease.
Attendees will learn from renowned Alzheimers and caregiving experts, about topics such as understanding brain health and what to do about it; building a strong caregiving team; long term care options; and expanding and enhancing holistic care and creative arts in Alzheimers care. A Q&A will follow each session in which attendees can ask the experts questions. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with one other.
