Cypress Represents landlord Blanding Ventures in Propel Insurance Expansion

COLUMBIA, South Carolina — Cypress Commercial and Investment Real Estate recently represented Blanding Ventures LLC in a long-term lease renewal and expansion of Propel Insurance, at 1410 Blanding St. The expansion to approximately 16,000 square feet shows Propel Insurance’s commitment to the Columbia Central Business District.

Senior Brokers James C. Harrison, III, CCIM, and R. Coleman Davis represented the landlord, negotiating the long-term lease renewal and expansion. “This marks our second office leasing assignment in the past two months over 15,000 square feet,” said Harrison, broker-in-charge. “We’ve seen tremendous leasing activity recently, with both landlords and tenants finding this an opportune time to negotiate renewals, relocations, and expansions.”

The Columbia-based commercial real estate firm also represented RSi — Receivable Solutions LLC — in its relocation to the entire top floor of 1441 Main St., formerly occupied by Wells Fargo. The 20,048 square foot relocation is the largest new office lease along Main Street year-to-date in 2023.
