Columbia Parks and Recreation is partnering with AARP to host a free educational workshop for caregivers.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on March 27 at the Busby Street Community Center at 1735 Busby St.

The workshop will focus on resources for caregivers, including support services, care guides, home safety tips, transportation and more, according to a news release.

The workshop is part of the department’s series of monthly senior workshops that aim to “empower and engage adults age 50 and older,” according to the department.

The workshop is free and open to adults 18 and older. Coffee and doughnuts will be served.

Workshops are held on the last Wednesday of each month through November, with the final workshop for the year held on Dec. 18.
