New York demolition company establishes Southeast HQ in Rock Hill

Sessler Wrecking, a Waterloo, N.Y.-based demolition and environmental services company, is expanding into the Carolinas with a new location in Rock Hill.

With more than six decades of industry experience, Sessler Wrecking’s expansion into the Southeastern United States underscores its commitment to delivering services to a broader clientele, the company said in a news release. This strategic move not only extends the company’s geographical reach but also strengthens its core offerings and professional team, elevating capabilities across all markets served.

Mark Frank and Ed Vernier have joined Sessler Wrecking to spearhead business and project management operations in the Southeast, the release stated. Both men are experienced in executing large-scale commercial and industrial demolition and decommissioning projects nationwide.

Frank joins as the director of Southeast demolition. His role will encompass chief estimator responsibilities and project oversight, the release said.

Vernier will assume the role of director of Southeast operations, drawing upon over 35 years of executive management experience in the demolition, environmental and rigging industries. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, He will lead and manage all facets of Sessler Wrecking’s Southeast Division. Vernier serves on the board of directors of the National Demolition Association and is the current treasurer on the executive board.

Founded in 1958, the company’s Southeast division is headquartered at 1034 Charlotte Ave., in Rock Hill.
