Midlands companies make list of nation’s fastest-growing

KRJ Consulting LLC, a Columbia-based business management consulting company, ranked highest among Midlands-area businesses featured in Inc. 5,000’s 2020 list of fastest-growing private companies in the nation.

The annual report, first established in 1982 to recognize the country’s 500 fastest-growing companies, ranks businesses by three-year percentage revenue growth from 2016 to 2019. KRJ Consulting, founded by president and CEO Karen Jenkins, ranked No. 546 with 848% growth.

Jenkins was recently honored in the 2020 list of Columbia Regional Business Report Icons & Phenoms.

Columbia-based software company TerraStride ranked 624th with 751% growth. The Stanley Law Group, with 251% growth, ranked No. 1,710, while Eye Love, a health and wellness company, ranked No. 2,276 with 184% growth.

Advertising and marketing firm Wolfe Solutions ranked 2,359th with 177% growth, while Resource Financial Services, with 143% growth, ranked No. 2,794. West Columbia-headquartered Southeastern Equipment & Supply ranked 3,779th with 95% growth, while tactical gear company U.S. Patriot ranked 3,907th with 91% growth.

IT management company Pinnacle Consulting saw 89% growth, good for No. 3,970, while Chapin-based Bela Family Dentistry grew by 60%, ranking it at No. 4,829. Medical equipment manufacturer Rhythmlink International’s 59% growth ranked it No. 4,862.

According to the report, featured S.C. businesses saw a 157% increase in growth and brought in $2 billion in revenue to the state, along with an additional 3,309 jobs.
