Westinghouse locating new facility in Clarendon County

Westinghouse Electric Co. LLC is building a new facility in Clarendon County to expand its welding and machining capabilities.

Founded in 1886, Westinghouse provides nuclear power plant products and services to utilities worldwide. It specializes in advanced nuclear plant designs, nuclear fuel, service and maintenance and instrumentation and control systems.

The new facility, located at 1878 Joe Rogers Jr. Blvd. in Manning, is expected to be complete by January 2021, according to a news release from economic development organization Central SC Alliance.
