Health care IT company leases space on Main Street

Listen to this articleHealth care information technology company Cognosante has leased 11,441 square feet of office space at 1901 Main St.
Colliers senior brokerage associate Allen Wilkerson represented landlord AgFirst Farm Credit Bank in the transaction.
Cognosante, which provides consulting, acquisition and data support services, liked the building’s amenities and downtown location in the Bank of America tower, Colliers said in a news release.
“With the phenomenal growth of the Main Street District and downtown Columbia as a whole, we continue to see increased demand for office space with great parking in this area,” Wilkerson said. “We are excited to welcome Cognosante LLC to the list of tenants that call 1901 Main St. home.”
The Class A office building is approximately 303,156 square feet and includes 24-hour security, a renovated fitness facility, on-site dry cleaning and a restaurant.
