Engineering firm renews Huger Street lease

Engineering and consulting firm Michael Baker International has renewed its lease at 700 Huger St. A tenant in the building for 10 years, the company will remain there for years to come under terms of the long-term lease.

Trinity Partners brokers Paul Hartley and Roger Winn represented owner Devine Street Associates LLC of the three-story building. Michael Baker International’s operations span two full floors and 37,000 square feet in the building.

“The tenant simply remains impressed with the building, its location and nearby amenities. The building’s owners have painstakingly maintained the property and building’s Class-A standards from day one,” Hartley, director of office properties at Trinity Partners, said in a news release. “Executing this long-term lease commitment is a clear testament of a great 10-year relationship and epitomizes a classic win-win situation for both tenant and landlord.”

Trinity Partners’ property management division will provide services at the building, built in 2001.

Two suites at Sandhill Center leased

Two retail suites at Sandhill Center have been leased to Title Boxing Club and hair salon The Knotty Spot.

NAI Columbia’s Patrick Palmer and Bobby Balboni represented Sandhill Center in the transaction. The suites total approximately 6,050 square feet.

“We are happy to have worked with the landlord to find two well-suited tenants that will add to the already impressive roster of businesses in the shopping center,” said Palmer, director of retail services and principal at NAI Columbia. 

The Village at Sandhills is an approximately 300-acre development in Northeast Columbia.

Stonemark now managing Atrium Place

Atlanta-based Stonemark Management LLC has added Atrium Place at Renaissance Park Apartments in Columbia to its portfolio. The 216-unit gated community features a pool, tennis and volleyball courts, a fitness center and a car care center.

“We know our onsite management team will do a great job,” Stonemark president Walt Lamperski said in a news release. “This community, which has excellent amenities, is a great addition to our management portfolio.”

Stonemark began managing the community, located in Northeast Columbia, in July.

The energy-efficient one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments have porches and balconies with wooded and courtyard views, as well as nine-foot ceilings with crown moldings. Some floorplans offer sunrooms and gas fireplaces.
