An adaptive reuse project by Cason Development Group is transforming a 3,000-square-foot building off Garners Ferry Road vacant for more than a decade into a new home base for area fitness instructor Robert Simmons.

Results Fitness, located at 4326 Wildcat Road next to the Garners Ferry Road McDonalds, will offer personal training and treadmill-based group classes. It is expected to be completed in time for a summer opening.

Boyer Construction is the general contractor and SEED Architecture is the architect.

“We’ve been working with Robert for close to a year to find the perfect space, and through our partnerships with Boyer and SEED we were able to find the perfect building that fit Robert’s long-term goals,” Cason Development Group’s Taylor Wolfe said in a news release.

Simmons began his career with Jamie Scott Fitness in 2013 teaching exercise classes and providing personal training services. Last May, Simmons branched out on his own as a personal trainer through a partnership with Stronghold Gym, continuing to grow his client base and developing a plan for his own facility.

“My goal is to bridge the gap between personal training and the class sessions and get to know the people in classes because I believe that is the best way for me to build relationships and for people to start seeing results,” Simmons said. “On a personal level, I want to normalize exercise again. People think they can use social media and figure fitness out, and there is a lot of false information out there.”
