Downtown medical building sells for $3.3 million

A 14,100-square-foot medical office building in downtown Columbia has sold for $3.3 million.
Bruce Harper, managing partner of Trinity Partners, represented the seller of the property, located at 1520 Taylor St. and home to Hawthorne Pharmacy, Carolina Digestive Disease and Palmetto Endoscopy Suite.
The property sold to an S.C. real estate investor.
Trinity also facilitated the lease of 7,290 square feet of Class A office space at 501 Huger St.
The property, formerly occupied by Assured Partners, will be redeveloped into an Urgent Care facility, according to a new release from Trinity.
Trinity’s Nick Stomski and Jake Nidiffer identified the new tenant before the previous tenant vacated the property.
