Garden State Tile opens Columbia location

Listen to this articleGarden State Tile, a Northeast-based tile and stone distributor based founded in 1957, has opened its first Columbia location.
The location, the company’s 15th, is at 425 Huger St. and includes a 3,000-square-foot showroom and a 10,000-square-foot warehouse.
Garden State Tile has a Charleston location and a distribution center in Savannah, Ga.
“We’re very proud to have the opportunity to grow the Garden State Tile brand and become part of the Columbia community,” Stephen Fischer, president of Garden State Tile, said in a news release. “Our commitment to quality products and service will be a huge asset to local homeowners and trade professionals. We could not be more excited to finally open the doors to our newest location.”
The showroom features a design room and a conference room, as well as work tables and a color wall with 130 sample chips, according to the release.
