Columbia companies among those approved for SCRA funding

Two Columbia-based companies are among four accepted by the S.C. Research Authority as new member companies, while the University of South Carolina Office of Economic Engagement is one of three existing member organizations approved for additional funding.

Bird Dog Deals LLC, a Columbia real estate acquisition automation software company, has been approved for a $25,000 project development fund grant, according to a news release from SCRA. The company streamlines underwriting for large investors looking to buy single-family homes nationwide.

Columbia-based identity protection services company Validide Corp. has also been approved for a $25,000 project development fund grant. Other new member companies approved for grants are AICG LLC, a Fort Mill-based data integration company which received $25,000, and Dynamic Flow Systems LLC, a Charleston-based provider of process management solutions which received $20,000.

In addition, Columbia-based Carolina Diagnostic Solutions Inc., an existing SCRA member company, received a $17,500 project development fund grant, while existing member company New Forge LLC, a Rock Hill-based augmented and assisted reality technology company, received a $50,000 demonstration grant.

The University of South Carolina Office of Economic Engagement, an existing strategic partner, has been approved for a $50,000 demonstration grant to industrialize technology solutions for manufacturers advancing digital transformation.
