S.C. to receive additional disaster relief funds
The federal funds will help communities still recovering from flooding from storms in 2015 and 2016. The money was included in supplemental disaster recovery funding passed in February following hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
Richland County to receive $1.6M in FEMA funds
The money, distributed through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Public Assistance Grant program, reimburses the federal portion of the cost of restoring sewer lines damaged by the 2015 flood.
